Ian worked closely with Esh Group supporting us in a bid to a Local Authority where we had previously had limited success. As a result of feedback received from this process Ian provided further support to an Esh Group delegation who then met with the Authority to explore aspects of the bid and the bid process. As a consequence of the greater understanding this developed between Esh and the Authority we have subsequently been successful in a number of bid responses. Ian’s depth of knowledge and understanding of local authority procedures and the Public Sector Procurement Regulations undoubtedly made a significant contribution to Esh making the breakthrough and establishing a healthy commercial relationship with this Local Authority.
